The Lisping Argonian

This mod hopes to scratch that itch for a slightly more tactical follower.

Thel-Ra is an enigmatic argonian sorcerer and explorer living in the Riften sewers. His travels in oblivion have made him
an extremely powerful individual, with knowledge of many arcane secrets. I designed this mod to fit into a more "modern" Skyrim.
At this point most people are playing the game with a variety of mods installed so I wanted to put something together that would work well alongside common mod choices, while staying relatively simple but interesting.

The mod adds an argonian follower named Thel-Ra, equipped with his own unique weapons, spells and abilities.
In combat his abilities are based around a versatile use of speed, range and crowd control. With most combat mods making battles in Skyrim more complex and/or increasing the number of enemies, I designed Thel-Ra's abilities around being more effective at dealing with groups of opponents, using a unique shout to break up groups or becoming a poisonous hazard when downed in combat. This way the player's awareness of his position makes a difference in combat, rather than just having a follower play the role of a decoy and damage sponge. He will use both healing and armour magic, and can (Optionally) summon a special dremora to assist him, but his actual health pool is quite low and he is vulnerable to fire so he will sometimes retreat to heal. This makes sure things are kept balanced and the player still has to keep on top of things.
He can also light up dark dungeons and caves, as graphical mods commonly make the world a lot darker. This can be pretty useful, and will often be another fun aspect  to combat when he is the only source of light and you have to stay close to him. Like his summoning spell, this ability is
optional and can be disabled.

Thel-Ra can be a bit of a arrogant smartass because it always bothered me how subservient the vanilla (and even modded)
followers are. They mostly join you because they owe you something or because it's their job.
I wanted a follower who is as capable as the player and actually has their own reason to be there.
Thel-Ra can be found in a new location in the centre of Riften, after the player has acquired the necessary key, and will immediately offer to join the player, saying he is bored with the city. Though he will explain his real motivation later.
He will also express opinions on various matters throughout the game.

Thel-Ra also has some useful survival skills, he is slightly more powerful in the rain and will offer the player a couple of new recipes for cooking some exotic foods, which can provide some useful buffs for your adventures or help offset the effects of diseases or debuffs from survival mods.
You can also acquire the passive "shared knowledge" power, which will provide you with certain bonuses when Thel-Ra is with you.

The mod also discreetly adds a new location containing a small player home and a maze-like dungeon.
Exploring this dungeon will reveal Thel-Ra's origins and allow the player to acquire versions of his equipment for themselves.
The dungeon also contains some other unique weapons and equipment that I added as a progression from Thel-Ra's starting equipment, the weapons each play to a different one of his strengths, emphasizing different combat styles. Alternatively, the player can of course use them, along with a few other bits and bobs that I added so no character builds got left out.
Thel-Ra's lore is mostly implied through item descriptions (in the dark souls style of storytelling), I tried to keep things within the realm of possibility for the elder scrolls world.
There is no quest attached to finding out about Thel-Ra, it is left up to the player to find out if they wish.

Tips:
This mod is balanced for and works best at higher difficulties or with mods installed that make the game more challenging and/or
add more advanced combat.

There shouldn't really be any compatibility issues with anything except mods that drastically alter the centre of Riften.

Thel-Ra can be found in a new area accessed through the well in the centre of Riften, a specific key is required to enter.

This key is hidden somewhere in Riften, with a small clue to point you in the right direction.

For anyone who can't find the key or can't be bothered looking, it is located

behind the bar in the Bee and barb.

Some of the spells added by the mod are designed to be used by NPCs not the player, the player can still use them if they want, but they
are not as well balanced for player use. You can still have fun with them though, I've left it up to player preference.

Thel-Ra won't move his mouth when talking, this is actually intentional.

His skills are magic, one handed and light armour.

The dungeon is pretty high level.
To get to it, visit the earth stone in Solstheim, a book called the "Apocrypha resonance book" can be acquired from an enemy there.
Once you have this book, talk to Thel-Ra about it.

Make sure to grab all the jewellery off his desk, it is used to toggle his abilities without having to mess around in a menu.
For example, giving him a specific amulet will prevent him from summoning.

The mod is pretty light on scripts to keep things as glitch free as possible.

Random trivia fact, Thel-Ra is loosely based on the villains in stories I write.
His back-story and origins are pretty vague and the timeline of events isn't really clear.

Thel-Ra's dialogue might seem a bit wonky if you start a quest without him, go find him and then continue the quest. He could comment as
if he was there at the start.
My bad, but it shouldn't be much of a bother.

He's set as essential because you'll often be staying pretty close to him in combat.

You'll want subtitles on, Thel-Ra's voice is pretty gruff and at one point a character speaks in gibberish.

That's about it, have fun.

Victoria and Gunhilde by Gman749

I am at work on continuing my NPC project,  along with other updates,  but this was a mod that was mostly done that I wanted to finish up and publish :) these are two characters I'm really happy with and proud of, and I gave them a ton of abilities, safe to say that with either in your party you have a leg up on any foe you may face!

Victoria is a two handed warrior with extensive vampiric spells and perks. Her default is Steel Plate Armor and she can be found at Highmoon Hall in Morthal. Gunhilde is a one handed fighter with some vampire abilities but an extremely capable melee combatant and destruction master. Her default is Ebony Armor and she can be found at Jorvaaskr in Whiterun. As before with my other vamp Margaux I didn't make them Vampire race so they are still strong during the day.

Background

Ancient rivals and powerful vampire followers,  Gunhilde was one of the greatest human warriors of history,  said to have slain the last dragon centuries ago! Her exploits had caught the attention of the vampire Victoria, who rivals even Lord Harkon in strength and sought to seduce and turn Gunhilde into the ultimate instrument of destruction.  She almost succeeded in her goal and only thru sheer luck and incredible willpower was Gunhilde able to stop the Sanguinaris infection by finding a healer minutes before the disease would have been irreversible. However,  due to the infection being in a very advanced stage the priest was only able to partially purge it from her body. The result is Gunhilde retaining many Vampiric powers such as immortality and a good portion of the insatiable bloodlust,  although she has trained tirelessly to control those instincts. No longer trusting herself to be among mortals, Gunhilde has turned to a life of solitude, dedicating her eternal life to protecting mortal civilization from the shadows,  especially now that she has discovered her old nemesis Victoria in Skyrim, scheming to wrest control of the Volkihars from Harkon, whom she believes to be weak, sentimental and unfit to rule.

Something has been "claimed" by the thieves Guild. Not their fault, it was abandoned after all!
Female thieves have a chance to wear Unclaimed Delivery

How to use:
-install my FashionSkyrim- Tools, the required clothing mod and this file with your favorite mod manager
-enjoy!
- in an existing save you will need to select the npc and type "resetinventory" to have the changes apply
- you can merge these files but if you need to merge their required armor too be sure to merge them together!
- if you run multiple FashionSkyrims or any other mod that modifies leveled lists be sure to run a bashed or smashed patch!

General rules with my preset lists file:

- If you find anything strange (like a peasant wearing an ebony armor.. whoops. Totally not happened in tests I assure you :p), naked people or people with missing body parts let me know asap and I'll fix.

- If you have any advice on placing some other items on specific lists let me know!

- If you think some items needs to be re-balanced to stay let me know!

"I didn't understand what this does"
Practical example:
My files (combined with the required tool)makes almost every NPC in the game decide what to wear based on a list of things. If you install only the tool (FashionSkyrim-Tool) the effect will be that everyone is wearing vanilla items, but randomized (because they are getting picked from a list).
For example Ysolda normally has the blue variation of the farm clothes, now she could wear any of the 4 variations of farm clothes. This file, and all the other "FashionSkyrim" I will release go and fill those lists with other things: if you install "FashionSkyrim-ApachiiDivineElegance" now Ysolda could wear any of the 4 variations of vanilla farm clothes or a coat or a pant+shirt outfit or 2 dresses from Apachii. If you add another "FashionSkyrim" on top of this, let's say "FashionSkyrim-SkyrimAttire" Ysolda will now wear either: any of the 4 vanilla farmclothes or a coat or a shirt+pantsoutfit or one of 2 dresses from Apachii or one of the (.. ugh.. 6 I think?) dresses from SkyrimAttire.
If you meet Ysolda for the first time she will decide what to wear and you will see what she chose (no console required). If you have already met her however the game remembers she already "chose" her standard blue farm cloth, and she will keep it unless you "resetinventory" her to make her choose between her new dresses. This doesn't mean that she will be guarateed to show up on new clothes though: she will browse her list and she may very well decide to end up wearing her standard blue dress again (but if you don't like what she picks, you can console command her again… ).

Warning:I know the images are not good (to say it lightly), but I need almost 4 minutes from desktop to game on my modded setup. I need to load everytime I want to screenshot a single armor, or I would have to play dice to get the one I am looking for (not to mention if I noticed a glaring issue I would have no idea which mod caused it in a 500ish mods setup… ).I tried to improve the pictures a little from the first mods i released but it is what it is in caves and with vanilla.. plus I'm not good at all at taking screenshots in general, even on the best beautifying setup.

So, please, DON'T JUDGE THE QUALITY OF THE ARMOR FROM MY SCREENS. They are only made to show that the NPC is indeed wearing the armor.. to tell if you like the armor itself refer to the original pages, who have screens made to show you the armor/cloth in all its awesomeness!

The_Sanctuary

Intro:

The_Sanctuary is a player home that I have been working on off-and-on for the last five years, it is also my first mod. As a lover of Skyrim, I wanted something that was open and airy, but with plenty of room for me to RP and have all the followers and children I wanted, but only ever found player homes that felt like labyrinths if they were large enough. As a lover of architecture, 3d modeling, and videogames I took it upon myself to learn how to work CK if only to sate my own frustration, but decided that I would add it to the Nexus if I ever got to a near-functional state.

This mod is nowhere near done, but I wanted to post it anyway. I will be updating it.

Features:
-All vanilla crafting stations except cooking pot.
-Beds for 6+ kids (Not working. Only for aesthetic currently.).
-Beds for 16+ followers
-Stable with space for 4 horses
-Pool

Location:

Just north of Riverwood.
The key for the house is right by the main door.

Compatibility Notes:
-As there are trees within the house any mods that make trees larger won't be very realistic and may break the mod.
-Any other mods that change the world space where this mod is located will make this mod break.

Installation:

I use ModOrganizer but there are other mod programs you can use easily.
If you want to add it manually, just plop the .esp and .bsa into the main Skyrim data folder, copy and paste the Texture and Meshes folders into the data folder and let it override the folders if prompted (it will not override the files within, it will only add to the main Texture and Meshes folders).

I highly recommend using ModOrganizer or NexusModManager.

Requires:

Skyrim.esm
Update.esm

Works in Progress:

-Working cooking pot. (SOON)
-The statics that are currently flying about. (SOON)
-I am currently working on the "bless home" ability. For now, it is not functional and is only for aesthetic (SOONISH~).
-Interactive bookshelves (SOONISH~).
-The two exterior chests that are safe to put belongings into without respawning (SOONISH~).
-Displays for all of the unique vanilla items
-Armory with working mannequins, shield racks, dagger display cases, and weapon racks
-NPC house-keeper
-Bathtub with auto-strip
-A mod version with only one cell, as the main bedroom is in another cell

-Cloud storage connecting other player-homes
-Improved front stairs and exterior front entry

-Intro Quest

Notes on File Size:
As this is my first mod I have no idea why this mod is such a HUGE file, even when considering that I used many resources and it's large with 2 cells.
Not sure how to fix this.

Known Bug(s):
- On one of the stairs, there is an invisible wall that I can not seem to fix. Sometimes it is there and sometimes it is not. I will continue to try and fix this.
- The kitchens fire is LOUD. I am trying to fix this.
-  Not sure if the two exterior chests are safe to put belongings in.

If you find bugs please post a comment, but as I am very busy it may take a long time to get a fix except for the bugs that I know of and am currently working on.

Updates:
-Always take all belongings out of the house before updating just in case.

Anna's Vlindrel Hall

I released this on SE on my birthday, now back-ported it to Oldrim. No assets, just esp. Enjoy!

A modest, assets-free improvement to Vlindrel Hall.
REQUIRES DAWNGUARD, HEARTHFIRES, DRAGONBORN
Cleaned and error-free in Tes5Edit.

Special Edition version Here!

- Doors added to rooms
- Beds changed to noble and upper, b/c no sane person sleeps on stone beds!
- Enchanting & Alchemy rooms combined & redone (Alchemy upgrade package not needed)
- All crafting, except Wood Chopping Block, just couldn't find a good place to put it with all those wood piles it comes with
- Child room enabled at start
- Bath in master bedroom
- Hearthfire oven
- Many named containers for organization
- 1 mannequin added
- Navmesh adjusted

Alpha version, because it does still have a few, uh, wrinkles. I mostly tested this using Live Another Life, starting in Vlindrel Hall. There seems to be some sort of conflict between it's packaging enabling and the Steward's house upgrade scripts, because I bought the Child room package, and absolutely nothing happened, which is why I enabled it to start.

None of the items added are connected to the Upgrade packages, they are just there. I could've, but didn't wanna, takes too much time. You still need to buy all the packages to get everything.

No-Mannequins version?
No. I like mannequins to display my outfits. If you don't want them, disable them, or "mark for delete".
If they move around, you need the "vanilla mannequin script fix" mod.

I hope you enjoy this mod (it sure was a pain pathing all the vanilla models to new functions).

Heal At Inns

$

This is my first mod, I made it mainly for myself. However, I would like to eventually improve it to make it use SkyUI's MCM to toggle stamina/health/magicka and adjust the price of the heal. I'm open to suggestions and will try to learn more about modding to implement them.

REQUIRES DRAGONBORN DLC
Inn owners give the option to fully heal the player for 100 gold, also includes Arngeir because I wanted to be able to heal at High Hrothgar. Meant for players who disabled health/stamina/magicka regeneration. The mod actually just heals 10,000 points which is enough for myself. Also they aren't voice acted, but they just say "yes" either way, might try to use some of vanilla's voices eventually. The specific NPCs changed are:

How to use:
-install my tools the required clothing mod and this file with your favorite mod manager

Simple Children LE

$
0
0
This is a simple overhaul for children, giving them unique faces, new textures, a wider variety of hair, and unique eye colors, bringing them inline with adult npcs. They use whatever hair, eye and clothing retextures you have installed.

Requirements
Skyrim Legendary Edition - I will only support having all the DLC.
Tk Children - only tri files required. Do not use esp or esm!
Without these morphs, this would have been impossible.

Installation
1) Download and install Tk Children. Remove everything but the *.tri files.
2) Install Simple Children
3) Install Patches
...
4) Done!

Load Order
SimpleChildren.esp is an esm flagged file. It should be at the top of your load order, anywhere after USLEEP.
FacegenForKids.esp should go fairly low in your order to overwrite any other edits to vanilla kids.
Patches can go anywhere after their respective mods except any that edit the vanilla children. Those should go below FacegenForKids.esp. Feel free to merge as required for your load order.

Compatibility
Other mods that add new children are compatible. They will remain vanilla children, but receive the new skin textures from the mod. Any patches already available are in the Optional section of the Downloads. I will not be supporting patch requests for LE. I don't have the time or inclination to keep two versions of Skyrim running.

Radiant Exclusions

$
0
0
This modder's resource injects a form list at 0x015f9001. All of the radiant quests in vanilla Skyrim will not select locations in this form list to send the player on a radiant quest.

Modders can add locations to this form list in one of two ways.
First, modders can also inject a form list at the same form id in their own plugin (recommended for legibility) and add locations to that list like they would with any other property.
Alternatively, this mod provides access to the form list via a script. Modders can use the two global papyrus functions below to add or remove locations from this form list:
RadiantExclusions.addExcludedLocation(Location loc)

RadiantExclusions.removeExcludedLocation(Location loc)
Both methods provide a soft dependency. Neither will have an effect on the user's game unless they are using the plugin from this mod, and don't require making this mod a master of your mod.
Note that any mods that add radiant quests but do not inject and check for the form list are not compatible by default, but can easily be made compatible. Please notify me if you have created a patch for any mod, so that I can host it here, or if you would like me to create a patch for you.

Cave Grass Fix

Another quick and dirty ESP from me. This one adds 'No Grass' flag to caves so if using grass mods you don't end up with broken grass in caves.

I didn't bother to check if anyone else made something like this for oldrim so if there is another this isn't anything you need to download.

This like my other mods is just something I knocked up to be useful to my setup.

No permissions restrictions so do as you wish with the esp.

Images were just to keep the nexus mod upload thing happy. Grass is Veydosebrom, trees are EVT with Forest Borealis, fog is Mangaclub's Vivid Clouds and Fogs, ENB is Bleak ENB.

Collected Minor Race Edits

Another quick and dirty ESP from me.

Includes some minor race edits I've collected over time and broke out into a new ESP so I didn't forget to include them when ever I reinstall.

Contains the following edits:

Extra first person view flags found in Disparity and the mod that inspired them (with mask fix)
Height adjustments from height adjusted races
    Female Orc Behaviour Graph fix
The Extra Nose/Eye/Lip types that EEO enabled for Elves
Uses USLEEP 3.0.14 as base records

Suggest using the EEO female ridged normal maps (just rename them femalehead_msn.dds when overwriting your existing dark/high/wood elf texture replacers).

Images are just to keep the Nexus mod upload system happy.

Gretchen is the daughter of a sea captain now deceased and grew up in Windhelm. She has sailed the open seas many times, and will occasionally serve as a bodyguard for both rich and poor citizens traveling to and from Solsteim. She is tall and strong in battle and and hard to fool.

She has Two Handed perks and can heal herself in battle. If anyone messes with you she might just cut their head off.

Gretchen and be found having dinner in the Palace of Kings in Windhelm, and will have her own standalone Girl's Heavy Armor as well as a non-standalone steel greatsword so the hunter's bow will not spawn.

Body: UUNP HDT Special
Voice: FemaleEventoned
Default Armor: Girl's Heavy Armor Ebony with vanilla textures until I get permission to put Amidianborn in.

Thanks and I hope you enjoy her!

Please see Credits for the goodies used with permission/open permissions to make her the proactive woman she is today.

***Please note the images show her with Amidianborn textures that I haven't yet gained permission to use. The included armor uses vanilla textures until or unless I can gain full permission.
Highly recommenced to overwrite her armor folder textures with Amidianborn Book of Silence Ebony textures in order to get the better look I intended!
